In earlier several years, the chapter has arranged regular runs and workout routines, participated in a 100-mile bicycle race, and concluded 5k races and triathlons. Now that the pandemic has necessitated social distancing, Drugs in Movement has transitioned to new approaches and tactics.

Associates have held at-house bodyweight exercise sessions through Zoom, and in the hotter months, socially distanced courses outdoors. A raffle was held in which students completed a exercise session of their decision and furnished evidence for a possibility to acquire a prize. Because the summer months of 2020, Medicine in Motion’s UMMS chapter and UMMS alumni have lifted just about $3,000 for will cause such as NAACP Authorized Defense Fund, Countrywide Bail Out Fund and InnerCity Weightlifting.
